Since mid December 2004, a number of larger BitTorrent sites have been wiped off the face of the Earth. These include, Youceff Torrents, Phoenix Torrents and of course LokiTorrent. While many veteran sites have vanished, many newer sites have rapidly taken their place. Too new to be indexed by Google just yet, these sites are primed to serve the BitTorrent community. But how does one get a hold of these sites?

That is where BT Sites comes into play. BT Sites is not a tracker nor is it a listing site. BT Sites indexes all known BitTorrent sites. Currently, the site maintains a list of over 500 known Torrent sites. The site is maintained largely by individuals submitting various sites they come across.

This has allowed the site's volume to have an impressive array of Torrent sites. If it's TV epidsodes, movies, applications, BT Sites will probably have the BitTorrent site relevant to your desire. In addition, if you are still unfamiliar with the functionality of BitTorrent, BK Sites has several links to various clients and tutorials that will guide you along.

With new BitTorrent sites appearing frequently, it becomes difficult to keep tabs on newcomers. However, if you are a fan of BitTorrent, BT Sites is another useful tool in traversing the BitTorrent network.
