ACS:Law Taken Offline - Again
October 24, 2010
Over the last few weeks, there seems to have been an attempt to bring the ACS:Law website back online. The site was resolving to a template page (not the root directory), and it has some marginal functionality. In what members of Operation: Payback are calling a 'drive by DDoS', ACS:Law's website was knocked offline.
It seems whatever web host ACS:Law
is using hasn't employed DDoS protection. At the time of this writing, the site went down fast, with little to indicate any resistance, as was the case with Hustler. We'll see if the lessons of DataFlame's error, when they accidentally exposed the root directory and a plethora of emails and personal information, were learned.
We'll post more as this story develops.
