What's better than one BitTorrent search engine? How about a BitTorrent search engine that queries multiple indexers/trackers? That's what Speckly is all about. We've covered
Speckly throughout its...er...speckly past, and today bring word of a rather neat upgrade - downloading via browser.
The latest and greatest is called Speckly Tools. Let's say you're on a computer and you can't install a BitTorrent client. Stuck? No! There's Speckly Tools of course. The bottom line with this feature, if you choose to use it, is the advantage of a Java-based BitTorrent client. Based on the Bitlet Java app, Speckly Tools simplifies the download process. From the developer:
"A user simply uses our real-time search engine of the largest torrent sites as normal. After clicking on the torrent link, or our Quick Peek binocular icon, the user goes to the website content with the addition of Speckly Tools sitting discreetly on top. If you are on a computer that doesn't have a BitTorrent download software, or you are new to BitTorrent, you can easily download in the browser simply by clicking on the download icon."
Speckly Tools works with the following sites: Fulldls, IsoHunt, NewTorrents, TorrentReactor, PirateBay, Extratorrents, and Mininova.
