Fastest torrent client I have ever used!!!!!!

Not as many features as AZ, not as light on resources as uTorrent. Nice client, but no reason to pick it over the big guns.

ABC has some neat features and a good interface. However, it eats A LOT of resources. On my computer, it consumes ~80mb of memory when I start it with 5 torrents, which can go up to ~200 if I leave it running overnight. It crashed twice, but I didn't loose any data. Still, I'd rather use ĀµTorrent.

Was using Azureus, but after switching to NOD32, I realized that to get P2P to work w/ their IMON module, I would have to exclude the program. But since Azureus uses Java, that would mean excluding javaw.exe ... which would mean all Java programs would be excluded from IMON scanning. So I switched to ABC, and I like it quite a bit.

Finally there is download rate limitation.

After trying out at least 7 or 8 bittorrent programs suprisingly i like this one the most. i had avoided it for awhile bc the homepage for it was so boring and didnt even have screenshots for it(at least i coldnt find them). but recently i tested it out and was pleasantly suprised at how smoothly it ran using less resources than most bt clients. only option i miss on it is i cant seem to individually limit the upload speed of a torrent. otherwise its got all the options i need. overall: simple, sleek, and fast

good prog that allows multi torrent dl-ing, but lack of pretty GUI turns me off

Outstanding for its simplicity and relative unobtrusiveness. Fast downloads to boot.

After bouncing from client to client, I have settled on ABC as the best for my needs. It has the best combination of simplicity and function I have found. Excellent support in the forum at http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net

This is a great, simple and easy to use program for BitTorrent. I definitely recommend ABC to anyone who uses BT.

During "Best BitTorrent Client" debates, this application is always a strong contender, usually battling it out with Azureus. What it lacks in features in comparison to Azureus, it makes up for in simplicity. This client has all the vital features of a BitTorrent client, neatly packaged into an easy to use environment.

If you are only interested in downloading and using files, then this is the client for you. Azureus' extra buttons may be fun, but it is of my opinion that they will not help you complete your downloads any quicker.

Perfect for beginners and more experienced users alike.
