Over a week after the popular BitTorrent search engine Demonoid was forced offline after a vicious DoS (Denial of Service) attack, the site shows no signs coming back online. In fact, things do not appear to be improving, as the site is now redirecting to a random website, leading ZDnet to speculate the site may not return.

In the meantime, however, the site on our end doesn't seem to be redirecting in the same manner as it was for ZDNet - however the page did load several sites unrelated to anything Demonoid. Although Demonoid has been DoS'd many times before, this time things seem just a bit more serious.
