There's always been some questions about the motivation behind Lulzsec. Are they the good guys? The baddies? Or something in between? Of course, the answer to this question depends on your perspective. If your perspective happens to be that of Republican Governor Jan Brewster of Arizona, where LulzSec just leaked a treasure trove of intelligence, well then LulzSec is enemy #1.

In a massive release of intelligence and other documents, LulzSec directly targeted Arizona Law enforcement. The leak was politically motivated, answering the question once and for whether it was all just for the lulz.

"We are releasing hundreds of private intelligence bulletins, training manuals, personal email correspondence, names, phone numbers, addresses and passwords belonging to Arizona law enforcement. We are targeting AZDPS specifically because we are against SB1070 and the racial profiling anti-immigrant police state that is Arizona."

So there you have it. If you don't know, SB1070 is the controversial Arizona immigration law that almost became law last year, but was blocked in appellate court. The damage created by this leak is yet unknown. Many of the documents contained in the leak are confidential, and volume and scope of this release are still being determined.
