If you're looking to be on a winning team, now might be a good time to fire up that eMule client. eMule once again won big at the 3rd annual Sourceforge community awards, where voters
overwhelmingly agreed that eMule was the most likely program to get its users sued. eMule won previously at the awards, taking runner up in 2006 in the "Best Overall" category, and "Best New Project" a year later.
Sourceforge managed a subtle jab, reporting that eMule was “Most Likely to Get Users Sued by Anachronistic Industry Associations Defending Dead Business Models."
The big winner at the Sourceforge awards was Open Office, a viable, community driven, zero cost alternative to Microsoft Office. According to
some estimates, Open Office has an overall 24% market share in the productivity realm, and as high as 35% in Germany. The Sourceforge community awarded Open Office "Best Overall", "Best Project for the Enterprise", and "Best Project for Educators".
