If that happened to me, I'd take advantage of the publicity the RIAA was giving the case and twist it against them. I'd point out the fact that they don't always check who they are suing before they sue them. The RIAA sues people without Internet access, people who don't have computers, dead people, and surviving family members of those dead people. And then I'd point out the extortion tactics the RIAA uses against people who don't know they can defend themselves or can't afford to defend themselves.
The more people they sue, the more likely they will be to lose their lawsuits along with any countersuits. As people learn they *can* fight back, the RIAA will be facing steeper uphill battles. And I long for they day when they sue another multimillionaire.
