DC++ a resource hog?

Postby Mister-X » Mon May 29, 2006 8:46 pm

Ive used DC++ for quite a bit, and always the same issue.
It runs smooth when it starts, but then it eats up all resources and runs real slow, to the point where my pc barely responds.

Is it the issue with soft? Could someone explain. Too many hubs open, or something else?
Or do i need to tweak my pc in any way?

I am running the latest DC++ zK btw.

Thnx in advance!

If you are running zK, ask LordSabbath. In my experience, DC++ based clients dont hog much memory :?

Yeah it can slow down if you have only 128mb of ram. There sould be no problems with 256mb ;)
