Good Movie Making Software

Postby SlyckTom » Tue Mar 29, 2011 11:48 am

Hello all...

Looking for good movie editing software - nothing too complex; just something that can combine clips and perhaps some compression...

I don't do much with editing/making movies, and I use WinAVI or Nero for what little I do with editing, so I checked with several people today that do this a lot, to ask what they use and like... here were the results, not in any specific order:

1) CyberLink PowerDirector
2) Corel VideoStudio Pro
3) Microsoft MovieMaker
4) Adobe Premier Elements
5) NeroVision

These same ones turn up in a search for "video editing software", and I saw several others that are just free video compression software in a search also.

Hope that helps a little, and good luck.

You could try avidmux or virtualdub.

Microsoft MovieMaker )) I think it is the very first program I used for making movies. But I switched to CyberLink PowerDirector later.
