[solved]Problem with Utatane

Postby Air~ » Thu Apr 09, 2009 12:46 pm

Hello~~

I've a problem when I want to download really big files from someone it gets an error, is there a way that I can download the file anyway or is it impossible? And no I can't ask the guy if he could split his files.

Thank you for any help in advance!

Can you be just a bit more specific? (Define the exact error, which type of file, which type of server you are pulling from, etc.) it would help, or is this an issue with resuming the file? I have pulled 4.2 gig files using Utatane with no error at all. I use Utatane daily.

Okay, it's the High-point server, the error is: invalid request (7) and as file size it says 4,1GB but in his list the file is 8,4GB big, it's a ts file and I use uta 0.253 but I only have these problems with the really big files. And now I tried to download from him another file with the 3,8GB size and its working.

If you only have the problems with the larger transport stream files, it leads me to believe it may be a server setting, and not related to Utatane at all. Perhaps someone more familiar with a High-Point server can offer more on that.
