Hey, make it available without having to register. If it is that good then you might get interviewed to promote it more.

a slyck review

Postby moculon » Tue Apr 20, 2004 4:53 am

yes in_solitude, a full slyck review and interview of this release would be great. a lot of people still use fasttrack and the old k++ client a lot of people still have on their disk doesn't do the job any more. personally i've moved on since the glory days have passed but if sharman ever upgrade the network, and with that number of users it could well be an important part of the file sharing world for a long time.

Man, this thing ROCKS, I downloaded and installed it, and Fasttrack seems to work like never before for me. But one thing I don't understand is where do u put your name in it? I saw that on the screenshotz, and just wanna know how to.

If I install the new version on top of the old one, will the name remain the same? My little b(r)other often deletes stuff I download just to annoy me(strange, cuz I inflict him ..ahem..severe physical displeasures when he does it...). He deleted the customizer from my D:\Dowmloads folder.

an honest answer

Postby moculon » Sat Apr 24, 2004 5:53 pm

klitetools, can you pls answer me honestly... if i get rid of my latest k++ version from before they got shut down, will i notice a significant improvement in fasttrack? or is the drop in performance i've suffered lately just a sign of general network deterioration (people like es5, morpheus etc leeching, the riaa etc seeding bad content etc?)

Duh, they made the original program. Not that it's any good, but it made a basis on which other developers could make their *illegell* better software. Shitman also made the network. After that, they have been a pain in the ass with crappy programs and spyware all over. Thank you sharman for making the network, and giving us a basis on which to make our own software, now get the f*ck out of our house!

that is because program is based on sharman's software, and if you gonna use somebody's crap you can atleast thank them, the other reasons are obvious i won't name them ofcourse 8)

Well it's your program, and you can thank whoever you want, that's your buissness. But later up in this thread you will find the following:

"if I install the new version on top of the old one, will the name remain the same? My little b(r)other often deletes stuff I download just to annoy me(strange, cuz I inflict him ..ahem..severe physical displeasures when he does it...). He deleted the customizer from my D:\Downloads folder."

Do I have to get another costomizer or can I install the new version on top of the old and still keep the name?

emm did i come accross rude or mad?? i was not trying too, i thought i was just being nice and informative sorry if came accross any which way.

as for the customizer its seem like its got a bit of bugs with build 3 so build 4 should be out tommarrow, and customizer 2.0 also and all the bugs should be worked out :D

but any body i send the customizer to i advise to keep it because after reinstall you will have to run it.

if you lost it i would be happy to make another one for you.

next in line we are working on klt k++ taking magnet link. :D

Also, why does the installer start the programme, and then tell me the system needs to be restarted?
