Completed - Transfer rest of guides to new format

Postby SlyckRay » Tue Mar 15, 2005 5:29 am

Over the last 24 hours I have transferred the rest of the guides over to the new format (This is why the left menu has been going through changes.) The new format allows for you the users to keep our guides up to date by using our form to suggest additions/changes to the guide. All the guides now pull from the programs database meaning that the guides will never have outdated information in them again.

Now, I dare you to go visit a few of the guides, see what is wrong with them, maybe there IS outdated information in them.!!! Then, just fill out the guide change form and BAM we will have an up to date guide. I am very excited that we finally have a system in place that will keep all our guides up to date.

We are also very open to users writing their own guides. Get in touch with me if you want to write a new guide for us, you write the guide and i'll set it up.

The BitTorrent and eDonkey guides have sections for website lists that is a database that will keep a list of the top websites to visit for torrents and ed2k links. Soon I will pull the same info and display the top 5 for each on the homepage of slyck. Please help me keep that up to date as well.

All in all, I've been slowly trying to transfer over all the guides for months now, and it's finally finished so now the job is up to you all. Thanx in advance!!

Notice how the guides are for networks? The clients are listed in the clients section of each guide.

Yes, Notice the evil smile? I was just teasing Nessmaster! I would not thank Ray before checking out the guide first!
