NZB-Zone is now limited to 800 users. Good luck getting on.

Only the pure leechers are excluded, Those who donated and the people that are contributors to the site in the forums or by posting NZBs are exempt from the 800 limit. I donated last month so i can use it when i like still, as can any donator or contributor. I think it was because the leechers were spoiling it for those that put time or money in so now we get the priorty :D
I can understand why they had to do it.

If that's the case, why don't they just make people pay a subscription like Newzbin? Running a free NZB site will obviously attract leechers. I'd also like to point out that Newzbin has much more content so it's actually WORTH paying to use.

NZB-Zone is great if you can get on with the 800 user limit, I was on there yesterday and got some very new releases ... but today I can't get on, considering it's free I rate it highly and agree with the previous poster when he said it's easy to navigate and find the stuff you want. Oh yeah, before I forget coz I'm pretty new to Newsgroups, a big thank you to whoever put together the Slyck Guide to Newsgroups it's been invaluable.

Tips:

Log on in the morning (GMT) before the good citizens of the US are awake.
Keep clicking 'Log In' if you can't get on first time. It rarely takes more than 10 attempts at any time of day to get on.
I know what you're thinking, punk. You're thinking, 'Did he use six superfluous adjectives or only five?' To tell the truth I forgot myself in all this excitement - but as I deal in English, the most powerful language in the world with subtle nuances that may blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' Well do you punk?

I'm no longer restricted at NZB-Zone but as Scratch said above...it's not really a hardship to click a few times
:D

The library there is excellent and only getting better
if you want unrestricted access all you need do is contribute .....
man,i'm sick of following my dreams
i'm just gonna ask where they're headed and hook up with em later

i agree 100% .. newzbin.com has 400% better content and faster release than nzbzone

I donated $5:00 which is the price of a packet of fags in the UK
(if your not from the UK ... fags are cigarettes not gay people  )

and for me it's just down to personal preference, I like the layout of the site at nzb-zone, I like their forums and have got some very good advice there, so even if both sites were subscription I'd opt for nzb-zone every time, you pays yer money, ... you takes yer choice. It's not all about content much of what I see on newzbin I have absolutely no interest in.

*Shameless Plug*

I just started http://technzbs.tk/. The site hosts nzb files for Systm, The Broken, and TWiT, all free tech shows. I also post the shows to Usenet.

What is with this?
These snarf people are totally incompetent they made the worst torrent site on the internet it is ugly as hell awfull to browse and has little to no unique content of its own it just indexes what can be found already at other far better torrent sites then makes those same torrents harder to download by forcing you to enter a validation code.
Then they add ED2K links but they are all really old ED2K links and the site is set up so users cannot add new ED2K links and it seems the people who own the site dont bother to add new ED2K links either.
Then they make a NZB site that is always either undergoing maintainence or nearly ready I have never seen so much downtime on a site.
All this done with lots of of self promotion and publicity that has only made them look even more stupid
They should stick to something they are good at but running filesharing sites is not that thing.
