News (NNTP) Server: news.cable.ntlworld.com
News server: port number: 119
put that info along with your username and password and how many pipes you want open into the sever details - from memory i think you just rightclick on the sever and then add server

If you are in a ex blueyonder area you need to enter news.blueyonder.co.uk

they may not support grabit, but there should be no confusion about the server name and port, seeing as those don't have anything to do with your client. ask them what the server name and port are.

Virgin Media Broadband customers:
News (NNTP) Server: news.cable.virginmedia.com
News server: port number: 119
Virgin Media Dial-up or Freedom off-net customers:

News (NNTP) Server: news.virginmedia.com
News Server port number: 119

Maybe I was at the wrong website but that info was right there
in the middle. http://www.virginmedia.com/toolsservices/newsgroups/

news.virginmedia.com
port 119
no login, authenticates by IP and allows access to virginmedia.* text newsgroups.
20 connections (you shouldn't need that many)

~120 days retention in binary groups by NZB, much less for headers (7 days?)

Outsourced to Highwinds Media's Amsterdam server (newsfarm.ams2.highwinds-media.com).
