I'm missing some stats for a few of the sites. If you know the answer to any of them, please post here.
If I'm missing a site, sorry. Post a link in the "Truly Free NZB sites" thread and wait for the next poll.

Newzbin requires a subscription to download nzbs which makes it a pay site.

NZBZone might as well be lumped in with the pay sites. No use in using unless you have donated. ;)

NZBzone.com is a an excellent site which started it all of. Thier interface is very easy to the eye and friendly to everyone. Their nzb library is home-coded (lol) But that donation barrier has cost them alot.

Newsreactor.net tried to take nzbzone.com place by offering the no-donation barrier and again used phpnuke as thier site foundation. But the idea of using a public module for nzb library, means that development is not controlled by them and usually have to wait for the author to update or work on it. But i can see them growing strongly as a close community.

i vote http://www.newzmonster.com because it is the first site which indexes the whole of newsgroups. It offers the same qualiy interface as newzbin.com, which is good and its a good break from the phpnuke style  Because it indexes the whole of newsgroups it AUTO creates NZBs, (which i think no one has done before) which means that it doesnt reply of user contribution so the content will continue to increase. The whole coding the site is also very nicely done, and you can see the people behind the site must have worked very hard (not sayin other team sites haven't :D ). But one of the wonders of this site is that it requires no regestration, which means 0% hassle lol. I think http://www.newzmonster.com will do very well.

p.s i dont think newsgroup search engines should be included in the vote.

whats the point of NZBZone if it never works when you need it?

IMO, it shouldn't be the best nzb-site. reliability and stability should be as important as availability of files.

I'm of course biased towards nzbzone as i do upload there occationaly, but there are many things it offers that other sites don't. IMDB intergration, showing files AND release names (I hate that newzbin just puts the title instead of other info such as the group), and speed! NZBs are uploaded extremely fast - often just after a post finished.

true Kalibrate, but i think newzmonster has a lot to offer and in time will improve thier site to offer better and advanced features. But http://www.newzmonster.com has no restrictions what-so-ever, this maybe nzbzone.com only downfall, but its a big disadvantage.

I have to agree with the comments about the limit being a major disadvantage but it is still free ...just a major pain in the ass. I'll give newzmonster a look as i'd never heard of it before this thread. :)

Wow, I have been really checking out Newzmonster and it is quite nice. However, I wish the posts had a little more information about the files being indexed. I think the problem with automated NZB indexing is that you lose the human factor. It's then hard to know which of these posts are verified as 'good'. I think that is Newzmonster's biggest draw back. Certianly a useful site in other regards though...

I have to say I am impressed. This is the outcome of all the work that FD has put in over the last months and so far what he said about how good it would be are true. I just wonder will it be able to handle the mass influx of people like he said. With that kind of indexing of Usenet they will attract alot of attention very fast.
Good luck to them! Its new enough that my work have not blocked out the connection to it, like it is done with Newzbin etc.
The criticism I have with it over newzbin is that they dont have sub-categories like in games, PC, xbox etc. Also I like the personal touch of the likes of NZBzone and newzbin with their editors.
I will be bookmarking it for future, it should be a good place for when you are missing posts on other sites.

No it doesn't. I haven't been able to get on for weeks. NZBZone might as well be a paysite at the moment.

your wrong, go to newzmonster.com and look at the drop down menu on the left and you will see all sub catagories.

It's then hard to know which of these posts are verified as 'good'.

Regestered are allowed to add coments related that file. I have suggested the idea of takin the info from imdb to FD, but that requires very hard work and i think thier work is cut out atm :D

p.s. forcing people 2 donate money in order to get in or wait for free slots is not what i think a FREE nzb site should be

Im a big fan of http://www.newzmonster.com, because basically its like http://www.newzbin.com but free and without the need to regester....what more do you want :!:

I suggest everyone to check out http://www.newzmonster.com before posting here...

Thank you for your kind words and support everyone (not used to it on Slyck heh), we've worked hard on newzmonster to make it as user friendly as possible. With us being a new site there are bound to be bugs but we're squashing them almost immediately:

1. NZB's not downloading correctly - Fixed.
2. Image Verifier being a bitch - Fixed.
3. Clicking on group displays sub groups as well - Working on.

We are implementing the IMDB info as suggested, all movies will have full IMDB info including poster shot.

Sub Cats are being implemented as well, that's a tricky one with the indexer.

Skin changer is nearly ready for you to be able to switch to a skin that suits u.

If you find any bugs or have any suggestions please post in the forum, we're all ears :).

**edit** nearly forgot to vote whilst I was here hehe.
