Here are my Choices in order of preference.
For full albums, I'd go with; Newsgroups, Torrents, Emule, Ares/Frostwire (There has been a few times where I've had the collect the album's tracks individually)
Rapidshare and megaupload are also pretty good for direct downloads, and they offer "Happy hours"

For individual songs; Newsgroups, Frostwire, Ares, Emule

Have you every tried SoulSeek? It's an old program from back in the day, but it was best known for drum and bass, techno, house, dance, trance, and all that crazy music that give you Amsterdam flashbacks...

If I can't find what I'm looking for in a torrent, I always turn to SoulSeek.

I also listen to similar music, and I most of the times download from sites linking to oneclickhosters, but sometimes I use emule/torrent.

You should google technorocker or 0daymusic and it will show up some sites, which have these kinds of music.
