That's an inversion layer poping. something at ground level cause that section of sky to "roll over".
The air of uplift is so rapid it's causing condensation around the transition point.

it would be a great spot to flight a guilder into. you would get climb rates over over 2000fpm..
you would top out at about 14,000ft.
