Hammerhead Shark Attacks Tarpon

Why settle for a fishing story when you got a fishing movie to prove it?

After a 1 hour fight on this low to mid 100 pounder, a giant Hammerhead cruised in for a meal. 5 minutes of chaos ensued...which made for some great video!

We just don't get stuff like that over here!
Get the occasional rash of basking sharks, even coming right into the marinas sometimes.
They're seriously massive and freaky up close, but totally harmless of course (unless you're a microbial lifeform).

Sharks are so cool! 8)

Was that kid fishing in the shark infested without his seat belt on?

Gosh, Id much rather eat 25 pd bag of shrooms and think im a shark than be anywhere near one. :Shivers:

Torentmama was that you that pulled up and asked for the email address?

It looked like he was fighting the tarpon and hammer head in the video together for a while.

Talk about the one that got away.
