Women play more games than men and buy just as many gadgets. So why are they consistently patronized by technology companies?

I call BS on the games thing. I can only count a handful of females that play games, yet mounds of men who do...

However, I suppose the Wii and it's entourage along with iPod and iPhone crap allow people the be called 'gamers'

While I don't often play the games as much now as I used to, there was a time when I played Atari breakout so much that I beat it 6 times in 2 weeks, and I used to play Nintendo ALL the time. As for pink "gadgets"....no thanks.

Oh, like I said..I know of them...but not near as many as guys I know.

Go to a gaming convention...mostly men. Play MMO's...mostly men. Though women are on the rise, I wouldn't call their numbers higher, just yet.
