Laptop Direct Listing Confusion

Postby gangstarr » Wed Jul 09, 2008 7:53 pm

I want to get the acer aspire 5920G and am pleased with the deal on laptops direct.

However I have found 2 what to me seem identical pcs but there is a £10 price difference - if you look they have slightly different product codes but other than that the specs seem identical - any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

That's right, standard warranties do not cover accidental damage, like dropping it down a flight of stairs or spilling your entire decaf latte into the keyboard.

That's pretty cheap too. Usually accidental warranties cost much more. I think my laptop warranty was $100 more for the accidental warranty.

Well friends, I am considering buying a new laptop with a TV tuner card which will allow me to connect my PS3 to it and use the monitor as a TV. What will actually be connected to my laptop (cable wise)? From my understanding, all I need is the HDMI cable from my PS3 to the laptop and it will provide the sound and video. I am probably wrong though. How do I connect my PS3 to my laptop to use its monitor as a display?
