Windows Media Player 12

Postby jb » Sun Nov 15, 2009 11:05 am

I upgraded my Vista OS with WMP11 to Windows 7 with WMP12. The new WMP does not allow changing some MP3 information ie: comments, lyrics, album etc. Any good alternatives available, or should (and will I be able to) to go back to WMP11?

So...WMP is like sheep. :D

I do want to keep WMP realizing there are better alternatives available. My ISP is ATT Uverse for both IPTV and DSL. The ATT network allows me to view photos on my TV from the computer through the home network. WMP 11 or higher is needed for this. I'll look for a tag editor.

I dont see why you cant view your PC stuff through your TV without ATT's software polluting your system, unless its a propreitry cable connection or something. But yes, any 3rd party ID3 tag editor will allow you to change any tag available in mp3's and WMP 12 will happily accept the changes.
