Im looking for a Youtube converter

Postby piglets222 » Sun Apr 05, 2009 1:02 am

I recently found that there are Several great/free/easy to use sites out there where you can pop in a youtube url, and out pops a nifty mp3, the best one I have found so far is ... nload.aspx, its slow but no limit on the number of converts you do, flv2mp3 is also good, but wasnt up all the time, what Im interested in is the client they use to do this... only one site offered the client software, and in small print say'd must connect to their servers for ads ^.^

so, Im looking for a freeware/shareware client, where you can pop in the youtube url (not have to download the video first) and it converts it to mp3

so to be clear. You want a client on your machine that will take data from a remote url and convert the audio to MP3 on your machine without downloading the data?
Not possible.
The remote ( webserver clients ) you are using are downloading the data first ( albeit most likely at 100mbits/s ) before they recode the audio ready for you to listen to or download.
You would have to download the FLV first for the client on your machine to do anything at all with. It can't work on it when it is in your house and the data is on youtube.
