Outlook 2007 splash screen

Postby Paladwyn » Tue Aug 26, 2008 12:41 pm

Any way to get rid of it? I've done some searching but came up with nothing.

I just find it annoying and doesn't need to be there.

The splash screen is a loading screen, if it wasn't there you'd just be in the dark about whether you actually opened it or not until it does open.

Personally...I like Outlook. I dislike Firefox and Thunderbird - mainly becuase everybody tells me I should use it. Not to mention..I absolutely despised Netscape with a deep red passion, of which Firefox derived from... It's the same reason why I dislike Roxio (who bought out Adaptec) and nVidia (who bought out 3DFX). Screwed me over in the past, and I tend to hold onto it for a long time :)

On a more technical level, it's just the easiest to use seeing as how everybody else is using it, or express. I merely wanted to know if there was a way to actually do it. The Outlook Express trick doesn't seem to work...and I have come ot the conclusion that it indeed doesn't exist. It's not a horribly big deal, just a tad annoying when you go to start it up, and it's there on one monitor when you have it opening on the other.
