TCP/IP patcher for xp 64 for half open connections

Postby Psycho Ced » Tue Apr 15, 2008 1:42 pm

Does anyone have a reliable one that they know works first hand?
This has been bothering me for a while, I had managed to get it working once, but after putting in a new hard drive my old patcher doesn't seem to work anymore, I had actually used a couple and one finally kicked in and I'm not sure if I saved the right one...
I have lvllord one for xp 32, ones the supposedly works with vista 32/64. but xp 64 seems to rare.
I've already tried the first few hits on Google.
Thanks for any help.

yes.. been where you are ...rather than write it myself..here are some options... http://www.msfn.org/board/TCP-IP-connec ... 04985.html

It's been quite a while.. but I think I did this..

Code: Select all
Hex (Offset) Mod Original
00000148     1B  26
00000149     7E  7D
000B85CC     FF  0A
000B85CD     FF  00
000B85CE     FF  00

The first two (148 & 149) are the checksum of the file, the others are the limit (hexadecimal).
Above example uses a 65k limit. If you want to use a smaller limit, you need to calculate the correct checksum again (e.g. with pechksum).
Edit & replace it in Safe Mode.
