AnyDVD has yet to find a DVD that it couldn't work with. Sure it costs money, but then of course you don't have to pay for it, there are other ways that many at slyck might be familiar with....

Agreed, I bought AnyDVD and have not been dissapointed. I used to use it for free with cracks and whatnot, but in the end the program impressed me, so I forked out my 40 or 50 bucks, whatever it was, and bought it.

Plus the cracks were a pain, since they update AnyDVD so often, you constantly had to go searching. However, you can try it out for 30 days or so...it works great.

Slysoft also has CloneDVD, which is a pretty decent copying software as well.

I use anydvd and I use dvdfab HD http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm

Yes the dvdfab site looks like a spyware site but it's not..
it's a very great product and it unlocked a dvd that anydvd could not.
There free version is truly free.. the only thing you cant do using the free version is
convert the dvd video into a diffrent format... but it will remove all of the copy protection on the
disk.

I had a dvd that slysoft software could not copy.
The dvd in question if you looked at it's disk size said the capacity was 40gig's... (that's not possible)
The main movie file reported a hard sector error.

DVDFAB copied it with no trouble and no configuration.

Don't just pirate these programs buy a copy. They work hard so you won't have to.

Agreed, AnyDVD hasn't done every single movie, when doing this you will eventually run into problems. Try a few others, I haven't heard much bad about DVD Fab, seems to be a solid program - especially for free.
