If for any reason you need to change the AR (Aspect Ratio) of a video file (4:3 aspect ratio and you want 16:9)and the file came as a DVD .iso

1) Extract .ISO with ISOBuster or something similar
2) Load up IFOEdit
3) Click OPEN and browse to VIDEO_TS folder and select VTS_01_0.IFO
4) In the top window click on VTSI_MAT
5) In the bottom window, double click on 0000200
6) In the box that appears, change Aspect Ratio to 16:9
7) Click 'Automatic Letterbox'
8] Save the modified .IFO file
9) If you have more .IFO files, simply load up each one and follow steps 3 through 7

You know you can also change the aspect ratio on the fly in VLC right...

Just click Settings then click Extended GUI and you have the option to change the aspect ratio much faster without even altering the original file(s).
