Have a go at a Sharman Lover

Postby awesomeamazingaaron » Wed Jun 23, 2004 2:13 pm

A friend of mine, to my absolute shock and horror, went out and bought a copy of Kazaa Pro or Deluxe or whatever.

I tried reasoning with him, but he keeps saying things like "no! it's really great man!" and "I swear, its way better!" and "Trust me!"

So what do I do to this creature i thought was a person?

I would direct him to this site and encourage him to learn about other P2P networks. Odds are that if he knows how to use Kazaa, he'll quickly be able to learn how to use other P2P apps.

I'd give him a break, not a can of "whup-ass" (although it would be tempting) :) A lot of file sharers think that Kazaa is the only P2P app.

Great idea, HC! And Drake... that was my benevolent sentiment at first... but I'm afraid this guy's hopeless. Whenever you try and suggest something like checking out slyck.com he starts quoting from the kazaa website about how he can customize his security settings and things... But sure! We won't give up (my brother and I- he's really my bro's friend).

Stupid people are dangerous, steer clear from him :).

Before anybody says something about "misinformed, not stupid" - I would just like to say .. AHAHAHAHA, consider that as a response to "misinformed" as well :).

There are tons of fake emailers - take your pick, and then you can even find on the net copys of letters which people recieved .. oh man it can be great .. I just though of a prank to pull on people .. hahaha "you were downloading beastality.avi", thanks for the idea - I don't know how I didn't think of that before.

Aaron, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. As for your friend that you cannot convince, invite him here and show him what the majority of people here say. If that does not work then ignore him until he comes running to you in a panic.

Something waaaay worse, like KMD

If Sharmen went open soucre with Kazaa and Fasttrack, I'd love them too.

I don't hate Sharmen, didn't they help that 12 year old girl Briana Banks pay off that lawsuit from the RIAA?

Oh no--this guy is stupid.

Send him a DMCA violation notice, that will wake him up.

All you need to do is find an SMTP server that supports SMTP Authentication. You can then use whatever email address you want to send, but identify yourself via the email address you have registered with them. An example would be your ISPs SMTP server.

You can also just go get your own SMTP server from http://www.download.com to use temporarily.

Don't let this worthless piece of filth brainwash your defensless brother. You've got no choice but to torture this disgrace to humanity until he finally gives in and ends his pathetic life, much to the satisfaction of 60 million file-sharers.
