You can't ...

K-Lite is a hack of KMD, which isn't open source.

KL is just a gui-level havked version of KMD afaik.
They devs of KL dont even know the source, and having the source to the RAM/gui level hacks or loader hacks wouldn't really halp much.

Slyck user AaronG5 has a client called mammoth whihc connects to FT. Not sure if it does this using giFT or it's own implmentation, however I think the actual client is open sourced, and giFt is afaik as well..

Kazaa Lite is simply KMD + Resource Hacker. Nothing special (and no source.)

Postby nigel123 » Tue Jan 17, 2006 7:22 pm are wrong, special it was...have you any idea how many downloads there were of k-lite through the "official" mirrors? No ? Well it was approxiamately 25 that is special! There is s forum still operating, if not at a different level, with well over 100 thousand members...that's also special.... :)

but that still doesn't solve the issue of the Kazaa-Lite's source code, nor add anything of use to this 14-month old thread.
