Fast Track lives!?

Postby HEAT84 » Wed Mar 14, 2007 3:02 am

I just fired up KcEasy and for the first time in a long time, it connected to FT!

And I'm actually downloading from it!

Here's the stats if anyone's curious:

Users: 193,679
Files: 27,581,723
Size: 4,988,928 GB

I guess the last 2 stats are still skewed by fake files.

I'm assuming that this is one of those rogue FT networks created by Kazaa Lite clients (or rsomething like that) that wasn't part of the main FT network so it wasn't part of the shut down.

I don't dislike the network.
What I didn't like kazaa's spam, ad's and spyware they gave you with the client.
It did have one technological advantage it's ability of punching thought firewalls.
It's the same connection tech that there using in skype.

Hate the company, but like there engineering.

Well FastTrack was designed very well, but since Sharman took it, they didn't develop anything other than adware bundles.
