Dude where have you been. Kazaa has been dead.
they were sued they and they loss.
There now working on trying to covert there stupid software to a paid service.
If I were you I would not even be on that network right now.
I'm sure as part of the deal with the RIAA and lawyers there handing over user information. (just a rumor not a fact.)
But kazaa is dead like disco, calvin klein jeans, peace in the middle east.

Look through slycks fine list of other p2p networks and applications.
I personally like
emule
torrents
limewire (frostwire)
soulseek.
Hell I would even run a hacked WinMX client long before I would use kazaa.

Kazaa is the kind of P2P program/network that just barely scraps the barrel in terms of quality and speed. 5 years ago it was technologically up there with its rivals, but it hasnt done much since, whilst new and better things have come along. It took a while for alot of people to realise this, but gradually they have left, and will continue to leave no doubt.

Yepp, eMule Soulseek and winmx are good too. Azu isn't for a regular user though. uTorrent is better. http://www.uTorrent.com
