That show is put in the Multi-casting site part under 'Revision3' ;)

I suppose it's more of a free video list, but most of it is podcasting/vidcasting. :)

Edit: I added your podcast finally LordFoul, sorry for taking so long to do it :(

Edit: Killing update drought by adding a new catagory and podcast... and Technolotics is not North American. :)

hehe np. Our next project will be formatted for video ipods as well as regular vcd/DVDR/XViD :0) Its going to be good, its gonna require alot of work. Were doing shit differntly this time. We are finishing the entire project before even telling people what it is. Currently, were in the stages of set/costume design and the script is about to be finalized. We will then start filming and shortly after go into post. However, in xpc media time thats like.... 3-4 months from now, since we always take longer than we think. lol

Heheh, indeed. I've done some film stuff as well and know full well that it takes a lot more work and time then one might expect. I think the average for editing was about an hour per minute of footage.

Added, sorry it took so long to get it up on the top of the thread there. I also don't really have enough time to listen to every podcast as well (especially now that scratch has gotten me to listen to hour plus long tunes) so I'm not sure where to file this under... so I added 'Misc' and put it there for now. Maybe there is a better way of describing it :?

World premier of Pure Pwnage - episode 9 here.

No, it's not any screener footage of the episode, this is entirely different ;)

Edit: Added an HD Vidcast for your enjoyment! I finally got around to adding it, but I did finally get to it. It was via a comment someone posted in my blog, so props to 'Jerky' for that submission! :D

Apparently, TWiT released a new podcast called "FLOSS weekly" on open source technology. I thought this would be an interesting update to the list for all to know about. :)

Wow, thought FireAnt was merely a Mac BitTorrent client. Guess I was wrong on that. Thanks! Added :D

Edit: I also tweaked the title of the thread. Probably better reflects the list anyway... shoulda got around to it a while ago. :\

Codecs???

Postby arkwright » Sat Apr 15, 2006 5:34 am

I went to hod and their video downloaded without a problem.

Video plays fine under Linux using a number of players but I can't get sound to work . . . is there a codec missing, or is there some other reason?

Advice please!

Added.

Edit: Hmm... I didn't have a problem when I played it (Help on Demand) with VLC. Maybe you need to download it again? :?
