BTW: MegaUpload always says, their slots are full, and asks you to download their toolbar to be able to download the file, and the toolbar is SpyWare.

DOWNLOAD LINK PROTECTOR SITES

The danger with posting links from Rapidshare and other upload link sites on a public forum or website is that those links are likely to get reported and the download pages will be quickly removed. The solution is to use a DOWNLOAD LINK PROTECTOR which cloaks the files' actual download URL, making it difficult or impossible for the copyright enforcers to demand the deletion of files they think might be infringing (such as a password-protected homemade video with a title similar to a Hollywood movie).

These file hosting sites take down scores of files erroneously reported to them as illegal material. (When uploading the file, it's usually safest to give it a cryptic file name, to avoid any possible confusion between your legal files and copyrighted material, since these download pages can usually be Googled.) Link protectors help stop these false enforcement actions and allow download pages to stay up permanently (or until they reach expiration).

Here's just a few link protector sites:

hi all
i've accounts in rapidshare and megaupload
i need a reliable way to upload files in either sites
i tried rapidupload. it doesn't support resume
i tried rsm (rapidshare manager). it sux. sometimes the list is reverted to some previous versions. sometimes the file is uploaded incorrectly. sometimes a network problem may stop the uploads and i've to click on the dialog to close it and try to begin uploads manually. sometimes the list gets empty and i lose my uploads, etc.
megaupload manager also doesn't work better. it's even worse. it may hang the system. the toolbar also is not better.
getting a conclusion, i've not been able to find an upload site coming with an upload program which does not have problem and works fine
could u assist me?
thx

Part of addressing your question about a good way to get stuff up to rapidshare, is first decoding what you're upping. If you're taking torrents content and uploading it to direct download sites (the most common reason for needing to move large amounts of data to rs), then I suggest getting a seedbox with a windows interface and connecting via remote desktop. Then you can upload on a 100mb line (or even a 1Gb if you want to shell out the dough). Also, as I recall, OVH actually is rs host, so if you had an ovh box it would be quite easy to transfer. You of course would have to shell out the $35 or so a mont for the seedbox, but if you split it with a friend, its not too bad.

i hope you have what it takes to stand up to the antipiracy stuff.

you will need to lose the ".com" dont try org or net they too are usa owned and ice will taken too.

users may want to update their hosts file to include the ip address

94.75.219.101 www.filefriend.com so if ice does take the domain there is stll a means to get there.
