I can't connect.

When I open winmx up...it comes up as usually...but the yellow bar is still flashing...instead of getting the green bar. I've waited for 5 hours...waiting for it to turn green.

Can anybody help me?

Obviously, it would seem the WinMX host cache server is down whenever no one can connect. But it connected for me just now, so try it again.

it still doesn't connect..do i have to change any settings?

Have you changed any settings recently? If so, then tell us.

Try to change the TCP Port and if you have a router, make sure the port is forwarded. If you have a router and don't know about port-forwarding then check out http://www.portforward.com and look for your make and model.
Or (although a long shot) try a re-install of WinMX and see what happens.

It's been along time since I have used WinMX so I may not be of much help.
