Can't download..... help...!!

Postby bigfellas35 » Sun Jan 16, 2005 6:34 am

When I queue up for downloads & reach no.1 in queue. Everything goes straight to (inactive)....
People seem to be uploading from me with no probs...
Any ideas...:-

bandwidth set at DL @ 10000000 & UL @ 5000

(Could the problem have something to do with my files being almost full)...????

i suggest seting you download limit to 5% of you download capacity and setting your upload limit to 80% of you upload capacity.

[fanboy]another thing you should do is to check real networks like ares/warez network[/fanboy]
there is new p2p site
...and it's growing.

The site is UP :)

Don't limit download bandwith, but Duckie over here is right - you should limit your upload bandwith to 80% of your maximum upload speed to avoid saturating your connection with upstream data, and thus stopping yourself from sending acknowledgement packets to people you're downloading from.

If you're getting an error message in red under the Status column, stretch it out and tell us the whole thing.
[code:1]char str[20];
scanf("%19s", &str);
if (!strcmpi(str, "Hello, world!"))
printf("Hello, programmer.\n");[/code:1]

I have been having exactly the same problem. I can search and get into queue but nothing downloads for me. Every single file fails. I have adjusted my bandwith throttle but it doesn't change anything. People seem to be able to upload from me just fine, but as much as I hate leeching, this reverse leeching stinks :?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
