Using the ~ in a Search

Postby Tantryx » Wed Sep 01, 2004 1:17 pm

I once saw a link here last year explaining how to do a selective Search in WinMX using the ~ (Shift+ #}
For instance I might want all Enya albums in ALBW format but no matter how I use it I don't get any results. :(

It can also be used to search for say, Enya + Ebudae for instance. Does anybody know the context it is used in? :?

i belive that he wanted to say that using ~ winmx searches for files that have something in common or that filters out the files that have something in common.

i don't know for anything like this but my opinion does'n't realy matter because i don't know a lot about winmx.
there is new p2p site
...and it's growing.

The site is UP :)
