TVTorrents Back Online

Postby SlyckTom » Mon Dec 20, 2004 9:10 pm

With the fall of multiple Torrent sites, such as SuprNova.org or trackers like Youceff Torrents, it is immediately assumed that if any Torrent site is inaccessible, it must be a victim of the MPAA. This clearly is not the case in all circumstances.

TVTorrents.tv (formerly TVTorrents.net), one of Slyck's top 10 BitTorrent web sites, recently experienced some down time. By mere coincidence, this downtime occurred during the MPAA's world wide crackdown of BitTorrent web sites. However, TVTorrents was not a victim of this campaign, rather a domain switch and miscommunication. An administrator of TVTorrents.tv emailed us with the following information:

"'I’m writing on behalf of #tvtorrents, one of the largest tv show bittorent
sites. We've had some trouble with our domain name (a former op decided to
let it lapse without telling us!) and we have a new url - http://www.tvtorrents.tv
to replace the old one (http://www.tvtorrents.net). There's rumors going around
that we're closed down like Torrentbits and SuprNova, but we're still here."

In an age of BitTorrent uncertainly, it is refreshing to know at least one good Torrent site is still functioning. You can also visit #TVTorrents on Efnet.

Hello troll/spammer, If your post was written in the 60s:

We should all be ashamed of ourselves for playing copyright materials* on FM Radio. People depend on sucessful sales to feed their families. I am not talking about the producers, directors and executives...I am referring to the people below who are just trying to make ends meat. Go out there, get a real job and get the money to pay for copyright materials ans stop sitting around your radios 24/7.

Feel free to contact me and I would love to hear from you..

* Apparently back in the day FM radio used to play full albums.

I know, don't feed the trolls/spammers.

Good on them for continuing to push on in the face of MPAA's "shock and awe" campaign (how many lawyers do YOU have? We have multiple legal partnerships!!!!!!!!).

I just found this site, I hope it doesn't close soon. I am impressed so far, I just got the fastest download that I've had since I started this stuff about a month ago. If it keeps up I'll be a member for life!!

Now, one question...When I try to go the homepage it says my ip has been banned from the site. Why? Is there something I need to do to get in?

Guess I'd better clarify...I just found tvtorrents.tv is the site I can't get into...

What's up with TvTorrents.tv? They've been down a lot recently. I haven't been abld to access them in about a week.

I've had to switch to Tv-Swarm.com. Great TV site.
