ejonesss, I see now that you went back and did some editing. if you are going to make comments like this...

ejonesss wrote:another possibility is the vpn client may have a "serves you right for pirating" trap built in

And a whole lot more that we did not quote from your original post...

And people respond to them in a way that you don't like, so then you go back and edit your entire post and it now says this....

ejonesss wrote:snipped to prevent further rubbing in of this reply

It does nothing whatsoever to help your credibility, and I truly hope you can understand that. It also serves as a reminder for people to quote your entire post when responding from now on.

On a separate note...

Thanks for letting us know! :toast:

don't make posts and then redact them after several replies if u don't want things to "get worse".

That was your comment on February 16th, which was an indication you began paying for the service, yes, no?

Today you state...

ejonesss wrote:i am on the free vpn and i am unable to connect.

So which is it, free or paid?

For the benefit of our readers, after searching again just now, I was unable to find any other online complaints or issues with FrootVPN since the last time I checked, which was shortly after the original post was made in this thread.

We always check for information that may be of assistance to our readers when there have been complaints made or issues reported regarding a specific site. So far, nothing is showing up on this anywhere as far as issues or complaints, other than what appears in this thread. We'll keep you posted if we become aware of anything else being reported.

now i see it may be a way it handles the certificate

the subject is now beware of frootvpn free maybe unreliable now because it is no longer about if it is safe

is anyone else having the same problem with connecting to the free.

i am now using free since i let the paid run out.

update: it is working ok now or at least when i tried it this time but earlier the free was not working

On page one of this thread is a screenshot I posted showing their paid packages, and that was 14 comments above where you said you went legit. It was nothing secret, and there was no mention of free being for a limited time only.
