I thought it would be nice to make a thread on Slyck's forum concerning the SlavaNap community and its networks, I will add to this thread as time progresses here goes :)

SlavaNap Community

Did you know that using multi sourcing can give you exceedingly high download speeds on SlavaNap networks?
I use Lopster which you can find here:- (which also has IRC functionality) and regularly get speeds exceeding 200 KBs .. You can connect to many networks concurrently; and to find those which are currently online check ... its also possible to get preconfigured wsx files for WinMx, Lopster and Audiognome there. (Check the different links) check this simple guide How to get started

If you are have interest in running a File Sharing Server, and starting your own network you can download the proggy here @ . Check out their forums for configuration information. (You may ask me too)

You may also wish to join an existing network..that's possible if you have a high speed connection and you wish to link to mine ( check my signature ) then send me a pm.

Hope to see you online and connected . :)

More information about the SlavaNap community can be found at their website here

is this like a sub-network of open nap or something, im sort of intrested?
Information is so valuable in todays society, its understandable people want to lock it up, but the internet is about freedom of information, lets not take that away.

I'll give it a whirl too, sounds interesting, and the speed sounds decent too.

slavanap is one of the server programs that uses the opennap protocol, so in that sense, the correct answer to your question, abou, is: kinda ;)

Well it's not for me that's for sure. I gave up jumping through hoops awhile ago, download this file to make this work, or that connect. Nah, I'll stick with Soulseek, the Mule and Usenet.
