Slyck Creative Commons?

I was just wondering (since I don't know so much about news under copyright) what the logic is behind choosing copyright over Creative Commons.

It was just a thought though. :)

Personally being a fan of CC since you first brought it o my attention, I think that the traditional copyright model may be preferred by the music industries as it less flexible and therefore easier (for them) to enforce.

Very good point there IceCube. I've known about Creative Commons Licencing before but never understood it's concept.
After visiting the site I found this link to be the best example of what it's all about.
Offering your work under a Creative Commons license does not mean giving up your copyright. It means offering some of your rights to any taker, and only on certain conditions.

They offer licencing for html, RSS, Audio(MP3 and Ogg), XMP and SMIL, and are currently working on other formats. This link demonstrates an MP3 licence.
