As you all know no_damage suggested that you transfer the guides to the wiki so that the users ccan keep them up to date. I tried transferring the Gnutella guide to the wiki http://p2p.wikicities.com
The url to the guide is http://p2p.wikicities.com/wiki/Guide:Gnutella
Please review my work and tell me how it is.

There's none of your work to review!

You simply stole the Slyck Guide and put it up there. You didn't even post a credit to Slyck.

I give you 0/10
I know what you're thinking, punk. You're thinking, 'Did he use six superfluous adjectives or only five?' To tell the truth I forgot myself in all this excitement - but as I deal in English, the most powerful language in the world with subtle nuances that may blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' Well do you punk?

Plagiarism

So you don't have to ask what it is rsrikanth05, here's the definition:

Def wrote:Literary theft. Plagiarism occurs when a writer duplicates another writer's language or ideas and then calls the work his or her own. Copyright laws protect writers' words as their legal property. To avoid the charge of plagiarism, writers take care to credit those from whom they borrow and quote.

Not giving credit is not fair play at all, although you could forgive him for wanting a clear and concisely written entry on the wiki :?

What's the point in creating a wiki if you protect EVERY part of it?

The whole purpose of a wiki is to let the community contribute, and when talking about file sharing <P2P - Peer To Peer - Person To Person> , nothing is more important then the community.

Yes, it is YOUR fault, as a wiki operator it is YOUR responsibility.

If you face constant vandalism, and protect every part of the wiki, you might as well give it up.
